The BoldTrail BackOffice AI connector is an early-access feature provided as is, without warranties of any kind. It is not covered by the service levels or support commitments in your BoldTrail BackOffice agreement, and it may change or be withdrawn at any time.
The connector works only with the AI assistant you choose and connect. Once your information reaches that assistant, its handling, including retention and any model-training settings, is governed by your agreement with that provider. Review those settings before connecting. You are responsible for the requests you and your team make and for how the resulting information is used, in the same way you are responsible for a report you export or a screenshot you take.
You can connect BoldTrail BackOffice to the AI assistant you already use, Claude or ChatGPT. Once your brokerage turns the connection on, you can ask for what you need in plain language, and BackOffice does the work behind the scenes: finding the answer or taking the action, always inside the permissions you already have.
The pull that used to mean six screens and a spreadsheet becomes one sentence: "Show me every deal closing this month that still needs commissions finalized, and what's blocking each one."
Turning it on (brokers and admins)
The connection is off until a broker or admin enables it, and you can turn it off again at any time. Enabling it does not change anyone's permissions: each person can only see and do what their BackOffice role already allows. An agent sees their own transactions. An office administrator sees the office. Nobody gains new access by using an assistant.
Start as small as you like: enable it, try it yourself, then widen it to your team when you are ready.
In Claude (paid Claude plans)
Open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add connector (on the web this lives at claude.ai/customize/connectors).
Name it BoldTrail BackOffice and enter this URL exactly:

Click Connect and sign in with your own BoldTrail BackOffice email and password.
Start a new chat and try: "Show my active transactions."
In ChatGPT
Open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode. (Web only, on paid ChatGPT plans.)
Go to Settings > Plugins > Browse plugins, then click the + next to the plugin search box in the top right.
In the New Plugin dialog, name it BoldTrail BackOffice. Leave Connection on Server URL and enter this URL exactly, including the path:
https://my.brokermint.com/api/v1/mcp. Set Authentication to OAuth.Tick I understand and want to continue (the Create button stays greyed out until you do), click Create, and sign in with your own BoldTrail BackOffice email and password.
ChatGPT warns that it has not reviewed the server. That is expected for any custom MCP, including this one.
In a chat, enable BoldTrail BackOffice from the tools menu and try: "Show my active transactions."
If the connection fails, the most common reason is that your account is not part of early access yet: ask your account team about joining.
You connect BoldTrail BackOffice to Claude or ChatGPT once, sign in with your BackOffice credentials, and after that it is simply there when you need it. There is nothing to install and no developer required.

How to get good results
Tell the assistant the goal, not the steps. "A list of deals closing this month that still need commissions finalized" works better than walking it through which reports to open. If your first answer is too broad, narrow it the way you would with a colleague: name the office, the date range, or the agent.
If something is outside what your role allows, the assistant tells you so rather than guessing.
What it will not do
For your protection, the assistant cannot move money or change bank-account details. Those actions stay in BackOffice, done deliberately by a person. The assistant finds, prepares, and organizes; money always takes a human step.
Where the numbers come from
The assistant never calculates your figures. BackOffice does, the same way it does today. The assistant surfaces what your system of record already knows, so if a number looks off, check the underlying record in BackOffice first.
Common questions
Is my data used to train AI models? We do not use your data to train AI models. What happens on the assistant side is governed by your own Claude or ChatGPT plan and settings, so check your assistant vendor's terms for their side of the connection.
Why can't I see another agent's deals? The assistant only shows what your BackOffice role already allows. To change what you can see, your broker changes your role or permissions in BackOffice.
Do we need a developer? No. If you can use Claude or ChatGPT, you can use this.
Is this an MCP? Yes. It is an MCP server built on the BoldTrail BackOffice API. If that sentence means something to you, everything you expect from that follows; if it does not, you never need to know it.
