An account ledger is a sub-ledger of a general ledger with each COA account’s balance or total and activity (a list of G/L transactions, like invoices or payments).

Who needs account ledgers?

The account ledger is a part of the Brokermint Accounting module that was specifically designed for real estate brokerages and teams who want to view COA account balances and track invoices and payments easily and efficiently.

What can I do on the account ledger page?

You can view a COA account’s balance (for Assets, Liabilities, and Equity types of accounts) or total (for Income and Expenses types) and activity (a list of G/L transactions, like invoices or payments). You can also update and delete a COA account from here.

How do I update or delete a COA account?

You can update or delete a COA account from two places in Brokermint: the Account ledger and the Chart of accounts page.
