Connecting with your MLS allows you to eliminate double entries and automatically see all active listings in your account.
Important: This article covers MLS integration for BoldTrail BackOffice only. BoldTrail BackOffice uses RETS feed technology. If you also use BoldTrail, note that BoldTrail's MLS integration is separate and uses IDX technology. Each product requires its own MLS setup process and they do not carry over between systems.
Step 1: Initiating MLS Integration
To connect your account to the MLS in BoldTrail BackOffice, follow these steps:
Log in to your BoldTrail BackOffice account.
Navigate to the Add-ons section.
Locate the MLS add-on and click the Get Started button. If you are unsure whether this step has been completed or have not performed it yourself, note that the process can still be activated for you upon request.
CORE FEATURES
Automatic import of your listings from your MLS
Email notifications regarding imported listings
Error-free data
Supports different RETS standards
Incoming transactions can be viewed on the transaction page. Once you expand this option you will have the ability to either accept or discard it. If you accept the transaction it will auto-populate the address and any other information pulled from MLS into fields. If discarded it will delete the incoming transaction from BoldTrail BackOffice. Within a full feed MLS integration, you can also search for any listing on the MLS using the MLS # or property address.
Step 2: Understanding Connection Delays
If your account shows "The MLS is being connected" for more than a few days, this typically means one of two things:
Action needed from you: Check your email (including spam) for an MLS integration form from our support team. The connection cannot proceed until we receive your completed form.
Connection in progress: The MLS add-on has been activated, but the property data feed configuration is still being set up by our team.
The support team will email you at each step and notify you when the connection is complete.
How do I add or create a transaction from MLS?
To add a transaction from MLS, go to Transactions > Create transaction > Search MLS and enter the required data.
Step 3: Verifying User Dependencies
If the MLS connection seems delayed, ensure there is no pending action required on your end to expedite the process. The support team will email you if further information is needed. Check your email inbox for messages from BoldTrail BackOffice’s support domain or help center.
