Overview

Staying on top of your real estate transactions and tasks is crucial, and BoldTrail's notification system is designed to keep you informed without overwhelming you. Our email notifications provide timely updates about critical changes, tasks, and important events across your transactions and workflows.

Our notification system is designed to:

  • Minimize missed deadlines

  • Improve team communication

  • Provide real-time visibility into your transactions

  • Reduce manual follow-ups

  • Enhance overall workflow efficiency

By default, all the notifications are enabled for each user. You can customize each notification trigger by switching the toggle or disabling all. The right-side tab will show you a brief description of each notification setting.

How Task Assignment Notifications Work

The "My task changed" notification handles two main task assignment scenarios:

Scenario 1: Checklist Application

When a checklist with multiple tasks is applied to a transaction:

  1. The system identifies all tasks assigned to each user

  2. Each assignee receives ONE consolidated email notification

  3. The email lists only the tasks specifically assigned to them

  4. Each task entry includes the task name and due date

Scenario 2: New Task Creation

When a new individual task is created and assigned:

  1. The assignee receives a notification email

  2. The email includes the task's name and due date

Notifications are only sent when tasks are assigned by someone else. If you create or assign a task to yourself, you won't receive a notification.
