Overview
We've made significant updates to improve how you manage transactions, especially for buy-side deals. Here's what's changed:
Transaction Statuses
We've updated some status names to better reflect both buy and sell sides:
"Pre-Listing" is now "Opportunity"
"Listing" is now "Active"
"Pending," "Closed," and "Cancelled" remain the same
Before | After |
Pre-listing | Opportunity |
Listing | Active |
Creating Transactions
Previously, you had to provide a full address and price for any transaction. Now, we've made it more flexible. You'll choose the transaction type, status, and side represented on the first page. Requirements change based on the side you're representing:
For sellers (Opportunity/Active/Pending) and buyers (Pending): Full address and price are required
For buyers (Opportunity/Active): Only a transaction name is needed
Transaction List View
The transaction name will appear in the list until an address is added. Once an address is available, the transaction name will be shown underneath.
Pipeline
The pipeline now includes Opportunity and Active statuses, and you can customize which values to show for different sides (buy, sell, or both).
Buyer Offers
Buyer offers are now integrated into transactions, which means that:
You can work on and sign buyer representation agreements before making offers.
There's a single "Offers" tab in transactions, showing either "Offers received" or "Offers made" based on the side represented.
When accepting an offer, you can now update the parent transaction or create a new one (useful for investment buyers purchasing multiple properties).
For users with existing buyer offers:
We've automatically attached offers that created transactions to their respective transactions.
For unattached offers (including withdrawn and rejected), we've created an "Opportunity" transaction on the buy side titled "Buyer offers created before Oct 30, 2024"
You can move offers between transactions or accept them to create new transactions.
